Challenge November (by Germany)

Our favourite warm-up game:
You need: 6 soft balls, two teams (no restriction of numbers - the more people, the more fun), two benches, a playing field (we use the volleyball field). The balls are lined up in the middle of the playing field, the benches are outside each field. At first the teams sit opposite each other on the outer line, facing the wall. On a signal, they turn around, sprint to the middle and try to get a ball. When they get a ball, they move bachmkwards again (we use the first line of the volleyball field for that). Then they are allowed to throw the ball in order to hit people of the other team. When you are hit by a ball, you have to sit on a bench. You are free again, when someone of your team catches a ball. The game ends when one team has no more players on the field or when the time is up. The game can take hours so we often set a time limit. Enjoy playing and give us some feedback.

Challenge November (by Turkey)

ou need: 9 hulahops and 2 different color of handkerchiefs teams will be 3 players

Instrustions: First put hulahops in a square shape 3x3, then decide 2 team.State a line.Pupils wait behind the line with a handkerchief in their hand. They will make a line like tic tac toe.The line can be cross too. When one team make a line they get one point. When one team gets 5 points they win the game. Enjoy your game.

Challenge (by Poland)

A crane tag

The tag person runs after the other participants. If someone does not want the tag person to touch him, he must lift up his knee, put his hand under his knee and catch his nose. In this position it resembles a crane. If he gets caught, he becomes a tag person.

Bricklayer and bricks
One person is a bricklayer who stnds in the middle of the room and tries to build a wall. The participants stand on one side and after the sign of the leader they run from one side of the hall to the other. The person that is caught by the bricklayer is put once on the right and once on the left side of the hall, building the wall. In this way, the participants have a narrower transition. The last person who doesn’t get caught is the bricklayer.

Romania

We are from Romania and I would like to present you our national sport - oina. It's a sport that looks very good with American football (we think they took it from us). The first rules date back to 1364, so old. Since 1899 it has been introduced to schools.

Germany

We are happy to present our local sports:

Of course, there is football! Rot-Weiß Cuxhaven and Eintracht Cuxhaven are the biggest football clubs in our city. We also play football in school. Mainly in summer when we can use the large football pitch behind our school.

Many of us play handball. We play handball indoors but also on the beach. Beach handball in summer is great fun!

As we live on the coast, watersports are very traditional here in Cuxhaven.

We also have a great basketball team. They are called Bascats. They play professionally and sometimes they come to our school to show us how to play real basketball. There are also basketball competitions between the schools of Cuxhaven.

Olympic ski jumping - Polish team (10-02-2018)

We all supported our ski jumpers. The podium was very close. Unfortunately, there was little luck ...

Comments:

The Olympic Games is a very important event for every sportsman. Despite the fact that we watch the games on the TV, we feel the emotions that accompany our represented. I hope that despite the not yet won medals, we will achieve gold :) (Marcel Warmuz)

Congratulations to our colleagues from Germany. They have real pride today! (Piotr - Poland)

Today's jumps were not the happiest for Poles. Very little was missing to win .. We keep our fingers crossed for our athletes and we believe in their skills (Iza Pokrywka):.

Today in first series polish Stefan Hula had 1 place but unfortunely in second series had 5 and Kamil Stoch had 4 place. It's not great but still good. I think they will end on the podium but I happy because we are in the world lead. :D (Bartosz Konik)
